Reunion of Immediate Family Members! Australia's Migration Programme allows the reunion of immediate familiy members, including dependent children, adopted children, stepchildren, and orphan relatives who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents. Children covered by this family of visas are: Child Children who are the natural or adopted or step child of an Australian citizen on permanent resident.
Ophan Relative Children whose parents are deceased, permanently incapacitated, or whose whereabouts are unknown, and are sponsored by a relative in Australia.
Adoption For children who have been or are about to be adopted by an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Note that overseas adoption will have to be approved by State authorities in Australia, and the child cannot be a relative.
Dependent Child For children whose parent holds a temporary spouse visa and is in the process of obtaining a permanent spouse visa.
