The Working Holiday and Work and Holiday programmes provide opportunities for people between 18 and 30 from arrangement countries to holiday in Australia and to supplement their travel funds through employment.  This gives you a wonderful opportunity to both travel and work in Australia.

Working Holiday Program

The working holiday program is by arrangement between governments and is available to passport holders from Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan and United Kingdom.

The working holiday program is also a a pathway to Australian Permanent Residence, particularly if you are prepared to work in a regional area outside the main cities.  The program is normally restricted to one 12 month visa for each person.  However, if you are prepared to do at least 3 months seasonal work in a regional area, then you can qualify for a second Working Holiday visa.

Work and Holiday Program

The work and holiday program is available for tertiary educated people from Chile, Iran and Thailand to holiday up to 12 months in Australia.
